John has made a name for himself on the national music scene with his constant gigging. At 38 years old he has shared the stage with Johnny Winter, John Hammond, Chris Duarte, Devon Allman and many others and has performed at CTs top venues Toads Place, Blackeyed Sallys, Infinity Hall. John has recently recorded a new EP with friends and guest musicians and members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Billy Cox (Jimi Hendrix) Jaimoe legendary drummer and founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, Tommy Shannon, Chris Layton and Reese Wynans (Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble) & Glen Grahamand Brad Smith of Blind Melon, Ted Andreadis (Guns N’ Roses) with the project mixed by legendary producer and Grammy award winner Jim Gaines.

Teaching Vocals and Beginner Piano

Tara is a Music Teacher/Vocal Coach in the Connecticut area where she began taking singing and playing the piano at the age of nine from various teachers throughout the area including the Neighborhood Music School and the Educational Center for the Arts. In 1992 Tara was accepted into the Berklee College of Music where she received her Bachelor’s in Music Education.  While studying at Berklee Tara learned to coach students in vocal techniques, stage presence, ear training etc.  Tara has had the opportunity to tour Europe with the Glory Gospel Singers, She has also performed in several off Broadway Productions in the New York City area and   currently performs as a background vocalist for Connecticut and New York City Artist. Currently, Tara is a Music Teacher in the New Haven Public School system and is the assistant director of the children’s choir at the First Baptist Church in Milford CT.  Her Passion is to teach the world to sing, while building her student’s self esteem.

Jaminda is a vocalist of more than 20 years and a flautist of more than 25 years.  She currently teaches music in New Haven, and is the director of three choirs.  You can find her singing with the Heritage Chorale of New Haven..

Mike has been behind a drum kit since the early age of 3.  Over the years he has been involved in a number of groups ranging in styles from rock and funk to hip-hop and Jazz. He has been teaching professionally for the past 6 years throughout New Haven and Fairfield counties.  Mike also received his B.A. in Music and Sound engineering from the University of New Haven.

Currently you can catch Mike touring the Northeast with his Jam/funk band Relative Souls. He is also involved in a number of locals projects throughout the New Haven area.



Alexis received her Bachelors of Music from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She enjoys freelancing as a violinist with various classical, Christian, and hip hop music groups as well as working with her own classical trio to bring classical music to more people throughout Greater New Haven. As an instructor she strives to make learning fun and engaging, and enjoys finding and arranging pop pieces for her students that will deepen their practice. She can also be seen performing regularly with her church’s praise team at Vertical Church in West Haven.
